Sunnyside Music Fest is excited to announce our 2013 musicians!
HEADLINING! Shakedown Street: One of the longest running Grateful Dead tribute bands in the world, Shakedown Street embodies the Grateful Dead ethos of improvisation and discovery, while maintaining an intimacy and open rapport with its audience.
Ricky Earl Band feat Cherise: Ricky Earl, Louisiana Blues Man, the Blues Man of this Century. Ricky Earl brings a new blues vibe to the scene. Ricky’s Chicago Style Blues Music is a mix of Johnny Taylor, Chuck Berry and Sam Cook, BB king and Jimmy Hendrix all wrapped up in one.
Fingers Of The Sun: Fingers of the Sun’s music is made of sci-fi pulp novels, lazy teenage afternoons, and a vividly realized wonderland of imagery, psychedelia and mid 20th century pop.
Gipsy Moon: Gipsy Moon is a five-piece group of wandering artists on an endless journey toward good times and raw expression. With music as their carriage, strings as their weapon and the horizon as their aim, this unconventional band is not one to be missed. Their sound, often referred to as Gipsygrass, is something like a backwoods hoedown meets the smoking basement of a New York jazz club.
The Rick Garcia Band: The Rick Garcia Band performs a signature blend of Tejano, New Mexico, country, rock and oldies music. Rick Garcia is considered one of the finest entertainers in the Denver area, due to his vocal ability and range, stage presence, and showmanship. High quality, variety and showmanship are guaranteed, no matter the type of music performed or the size of the audience
Greg Harris Vibe Quintet feat Venus Cruz: Greg Tanner Harris leads the Greg Harris Vibe Quintet and is a member of Bluegrass legend Pete Wernick’s Flexigrass, hip-hop/jazz/soul group Future Jazz Project, 9th & Lincoln Orchestra, and SuperCollider. He has released 5 albums – Greg Harris Vibe Quintet Open Space and Frames Live, Prospector Memory of Pilots featuring trumpeter Ron Miles, and World Citizen with West African master xylophonist Aaron Bebe Sukura. The Greg Harris Vibe Quintet’s new album, Glass Gold, was recently released on Dazzle Records.
Set times to be announced soon!
