Food Vendors
The Sunnyside Music Fest is looking for a delicious array of ethnically diverse foods.
The vendor application process is semi-juried and the retail committee will review applications for approval. You will be notified regarding approval via email and you will be invoiced with instructions on how to make payment with Pay-Pal. Your spot will not be secured until payment has been made.
Deadline to receive completed applications is August 25, 2011, but we encourage you to send applications as soon as possible. A sample menu with pricing must be included with all applications. All menu items are subject to approval.
You may complete your application here: www.sunnysidemusicfest.org/food-vendor-application.aspx
Booth fees are $250 or $400 for oversized booth space. All booths are 12 ft x 12 ft. You must provide your own tent, table and chairs.
Food Vendor booth set up will begin at 8:00 am and all food vendors must be set up by 9:30 am and continue to be open from 10:00 am to 7 pm. Cars will be allowed to drop off items, but will not be allowed to park in drop off area. Cars must be moved to parking spaces within 15 minutes of drop-off. There are no early strikes or closings unless Sunnyside Music Fest staff makes a day of decision concerning weather.
We will provide you with a festival layout by the end of August including your booth assignment space.
In an effort to be green, we would love for all food vendor supplies to be recycled, recyclable or compostable, if possible. Although we know this may not be entirely possible, we would like to make all efforts to be “Green” and would appreciate help from our vendors.
Food Vendor Licenses/Permits and Insurance Coverage
Tax licenses and food vendor licenses are REQUIRED by the city of Denver and the state of Colorado. SMF is required to provide names, addresses, and food vendor license numbers of all participating vendors before the fest.
As a vendor, you will be required to collect tax on all purchases, and remit those taxes to the government within 15 days of the event. You can download tax license forms by following this link: http://www.colorado.gov/oed/industry-license/158IndDetail.html
